Kona Brewing Co. is proud to be expanding production in our hometown while setting the standard for brewing beer in a way that’s efficient and environmentally responsible. By brewing more beer on the islands, we decrease our carbon footprint and overall impact on the environment. Kona also teamed up with innovators in technology and sustainability to invest in new eco-friendly brewing technology. 

Our new brewery has 1,211 solar panels covering our roof that generates 25% of our energy needs as well as state-of-the-art CO₂ recovery and wastewater reclamation systems. We also donate all of our spent grains to local farmers.
